When I discovered Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Brioche bread, I knew it had to hop into my cart and come home to enhance our family Sunday brunch. Using that as the base was the perfect way to build a deceivingly complex bougie breakfast with much hassle or effort. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did!
Pumpkin French Toast Recipe
Ingredients:

8 slices Pumpkin Brioche Bread

1/4 cup milk

4 eggs

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp cardamom

2 tbsp sugar

4 tbsp butter
Instructions:

whisk together eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, sugar and milk into a shallow pie pan

Dip bread in the egg mixture on each side using a fork

heat your butter in a large skillet until it melts completely covering the surface of the skillet

keep your skillet on medium heat, place soaked bread on to pan. Cook each side until it becomes golden brown. flip to cook both sides

serve with maple syrup.
